Teaching Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding role within a Primary classroom?

The position is set to begin immediately and cover 3 days a week for two terms with opportunity to secure a permanent position.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a School currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for their EYFS and KS1 departments. The school have an outstanding attitude towards development and the ability to inspire children to learn. They have recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and boasts excellent links to local transport with free parking on site. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Teaching to support and improve their behaviour management and literacy skills. The placement is Part Time and aims to bring in a member of staff that will complement their excellent team.

Details of role:

  • Assisting the Teacher within a Class of 30 pupils
  • Support the work of volunteers and other staff in the classroom
  • Part time role commencing ASAP
  • Be responsible for supporting the education and welfare of all pupils and on occasion leading small intervention groups
  • Support and guidance will be provided from an experienced teacher who will act as your personal mentor when you join the school

The role requires:

  • Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher
