This popular and caring primary school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and due to their changing needs is requiring an enthusiastic and dynamic teaching assistant to help continue the level of high-quality support within the Year 2 class.

Working alongside the children either on a 1:1 basis or within smaller groups you will help the children develop skills and confidence in their abilities, especially in English and Maths. This school can offer you great opportunities for CPD whilst working in a friendly atmosphere with great facilities.

The Person:

• Experience of working with key stage 1 children in a primary school is desirable

• Must have confidence and experience delivering literacy and numeracy intervention groups in particular.

• Good classroom control and behaviour management

• Have a nurturing and patient personality to be able to support those children who need the support the most

• Graduates who are looking to start their careers within education are welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
