Exciting opportunity work within an ASC provision of a large Salford secondary school from October half term.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from October 2020, opportunity to stay for the full academic year (2020/2021).
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs within lessons and during recreational times.
  • Earn up to GBP1300 per month, depending upon previous experiences.

Our client secondary school have recently incorporated a provision designed specifically for pupils who have ASC. The school are looking for a passionate individual who can provide continuous support for identified pupils.

The incoming teaching assistant will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis within a range of lessons to ensure they have the correct guidance they require. The successful candidate will be working alongside the class teacher and other teaching assistants within the classroom.

To be considered for this position, you must have experience supporting pupils previously who have SEN or learning difficulties. Any other experience supporting children or young people will also be considered.

The school is located in Eccles and is easily accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas including Salford, Bolton and central Manchester. For candidates who are on pupil transport, the school can also be accessed from neighbouring areas via bus and train.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
