Teaching Assistant

A three form entry primary school in Salford are looking for an experienced classroom assistant who has experience working with SEN and delivering interventions on a one to one basis or in small groups. This Ofsted rated ‘good’ school with outstanding features offers a warm and friendly environment with a large, supportive staff team who are working together to create an environment where the children can ‘become the best that they can be’.

The school are looking to appoint a passionate teaching assistant to work alongside class teachers across KS1, delivering interventions to children with SEN. Experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties would be advantageous. Some experience of following a Read, Write Inc. scheme of work would be ideal as you will be required to deliver phonics sessions to a small group of children in the mornings.For this role you will be mainly classroom based in the mornings, but working on a one to one basis or with small groups in the afternoons.
