The Role

Are you looking for work as a Teaching Assistant? We’re looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a school in the Cwmbran area. The right candidate will work under the supervision of the classroom teacher to support children in their academic progress. You will work with children on a 1:1 basis or in groups to improve their work and make good progress in their learning. Additionally, you will be expected to help create resources to support the pupils learning and create a positive learning environment.

The role is within a school in Cwmbran and is to start after the October half time on November 11th in a year 2 class full time. The school was inspected by ESTYN in 2018 and they commented that the pupils’ well being and attitude towards learning are very strong. The pupils’ were also complimented on how polite, caring and tolerant they are of others needs. We’re looking to start interviews ASAP to get the right person placed for the role.

Teaching Personnel

What you need

To start work at this school you will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) and have a children workforce only DBS. You will be assisted with both of these upon your application.
