Teaching Assistant

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)? Are you seeking a new full-time role from Easter 2020?

If so, the headteacher at a small secondary academy in Bolton is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming staff team until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for those wishing to secure a permanent contract in the new academic year.

• Teaching Assistant required from Easter 2020 or earlier.
• Supporting pupils across KS3/KS4 in a range of subject areas.
• Candidates with all levels of SEMH/SEN experience are welcome to apply
• Earn up to GBP325+ per week depending upon previous experience.

As the successful Teaching Assistant you can expect to work alongside the SENCO and class teachers to provide additional support for pupils with SEMH needs, as well as pupils who may display disruptive and challenging behaviour; managing this effectively is essential.  Your role may also include providing tuition and small group interventions to pupils within the ASC Provision.

Located on the borderline between Bolton and Bury, the academy can be accessed via the M61 motorway and the surrounding areas. There is also a number of public transportation links with access  throughout Greater Manchester.
