A reputable Primary School in the Fulwood area of Preston have approached Teaching Personnel requesting a Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1 during Lockdown, the school has found that they have more key worker and vulnerable children attending school and so need another Teaching Assistant during lockdown.

The SENCO and Headteacher of the school are keen to secure an experienced practitioner to work alongside children across the KS1 bubble ensuring that the pupils can access the work set by the teacher on the school learning portal. The teachers are on a rota offering in room/online support, so this role is to support the teachers and ensure the pupils follow the timetable.

Post Lockdown the school have the possibility of expanding their support team, the school would be flexible to meet the key stage preference of the successful candidate. This would be offering general TA support with some 1:1 support as required.

Rates of pay are competitive at GBP10 per hour and paid on a weekly basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
