Teaching Assistants Required for March Start

With primary schools expected to return in March, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a number of general Teaching Assistants to begin positions in schools across South East London after the current lockdown restrictions are lifted.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering National Curriculum lessons to students
• Providing small group or individual class interventions to students of a lower ability
• Aid the class teacher in lesson preparation, marking work and general administrative duties
• Managing class behaviour and promoting a positive, safe learning environment

Role requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children
• Aged 18 or over with the right to work in the UK
• Local to South East London (Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Bromley and Bexley in particular)
• Possess/be willing to apply for an enhanced child-only DBS check registered to the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
