Role: 1:1 EYFS TA  

Location: Darlington

When: After October half term

Salary: GBP325-350 a week

The Head Teacher and Governors of a really lovely school in the County Durham area is seeking an engaging and passionate SEN Support. This role is to work 1:1 with a little boy in Reception who is a really lovely boy who has Global Developmental Delay and is working at a lower level. This child also has quite physical needs and needs daily support due to a physical degenerative disease. This role offers lots of flexibility as the majority of the time you will be working on a 1:1 basis but for two mornings a week you will be delivering interventions and booster sessions to children in Reception/Year 1.

This is a fantastic opportunity in a brilliant rural village school with an incredibly supportive staff base. Due to the location of the school the right candidate would need to be able to drive as accessing the school on public transport is difficult. Experience working in Primary schools or with children with special educational needs is beneficial, however, any relevant experience may also be considered. The key skills required are; excellent communication skills, a passion to inspire, reliability, and a positive attitude.
