Teaching Assistant – Hounslow, West London

Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

Pay: GBP70+/day

Hours: Full Time / Part Time.

Leave: School Holidays.

Location: This post will initially be based at the Main College Campus, Isleworth

These posts are at situated at the main campus at a well established college. The facilities are modern and grounds cover a vast area. The college is a social hub for young adults in the local area with many enrolling from “GOOD” to “OUSTANDING” Schools in the local area. The staff are both friendly and supportive and will give you all the training you need (and more!) to succeed in this position and gain valuable experience for your career.

** Teaching Assistant – Hounslow **

The purpose of the post is: to work under the direction/guidance of the Manager and Lecturer, supervising and providing particular support for groups of 14-16 year old students to enable them to learn as effectively as possible on their own and in group situations, taking into account the particular needs involved. This may include supporting students with challenging behaviour.

Please note that this post is for a college and not a school. The population is higher and student ages are older. You will be working as part of a huge team of Teaching Assistants with like minded people in a social atmosphere. Please see qualification and person specifications below.

Qualification specifications:
**Teaching Assistant – Hounslow**

  • A Degree in any specialism (Ideally)
  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (Ideally)
  • Experience in Care, Youth Work or Education (Essential)

  • Be a proactive individual, wanting a career where no two days are the same!
  • Care about the education of young adults and assist them in any way you can.
