Teaching Assistant

Are you a teaching assistant looking for a new role full time role? Do you have experience supporting Primary aged pupils?  Are you passionate about supporting Primary aged pupils?

We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work full time in a local primary school. The role will involve supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups. You will be supporting pupils in both KS1 and KS2 and also may involve supporting  pupils with SEN.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have teaching assistant experience in Primary schools
  • Experience supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Have the ability to build a strong working relationship with pupils, teachers and other support staff
  • Has supported pupils with a range of subjects and has a knowledge of the National Primary curriculum
  • Experience of working with Special Educational Needs; social, emotional and mental health  needs (SEMH), Autism (ASC) or other SEN is useful
  • Has undertaken or is happy to complete safeguarding and other mandatory training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
