Teaching Assistant 

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Mainstream Primary School in North Liverpool, Aintree, who are searching for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across KS1 and KS2 to provide catch up learning and support. With pupil's having missed out on months of being in a classroom environemnt, schools are now hoping to employ additional members of staff to work with children in order to help them catch up on their learning. The role will entail working in classroom environments, group environments and on a 1-1 bases with pupils. You will support pupil's with Maths, English, Science and anything additional they may have fallen behind on.

The school is looking for multiple Teaching Assistants to begin over the next few weeks, so if you have relative experience or degree and feel this might be the role for you, please get in touch!

The Role:

• Full time or part time Monday - Friday 
• Hours approximately: 8:30am - 3:30pm
• GBP10 - GBP11 Per hour
• Mainstream Primary School
• Teaching Assistant
• Aintree

The tasks which a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant carries out can include:

• Preparing materials, equipment and lessons
• Assessing the individual learning needs of the pupil
• Evaluating and reporting pupils’ progress to teachers, carers, healthcare professionals and anybody else who helps them
• Supervising activities such as trips locally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
