Catch up TA

 

A mainstream primary school in North Liverpool, L21, are currently searching for a full time Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in KS1 and KS2 for catch up learning; after the October half term.
The role would be full time from Monday 2nd November to at least the Christmas holidays, but possible until the end of the academic year dependant upon funding.


The school are ideally looking for someone who is qualified to cover the Class Teacher should the situation arise


The ideal person will also have experience working across KS1 and KS2 and be confident with their Primary level core subjects. You would be working with KS1 pupils in the morning and KS2 pupils during the afternoon

The role:

  • Full time, long term
  • Hours approximately, 8:40am - 3:15pm each day 
  • GBP10 - GBP11 per hour
  • Start date: November 2nd 
  • North Liverpool, L21 


The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted who stated the following -
'The broad and balanced curriculum has been designed to capture the interests of pupils. Investment in information and communications technology has allowed teachers to bring the curriculum to life. Pupils  are enthused and engaged by watching videos and animations which excite them and give them reasons  to write. All teachers are aware of the ‘non-negotiables’ for curriculum areas and this helps to ensure that  learning in subjects is thorough. Pupils’ learning and development is enriched by additional activities and  clubs such as singing, chess, football, multi-skills, dance, drama and other clubs relating to health and well-being.'

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
