Our partner Secondary school in the heart of Manchester have a requirement for a teaching assistant to join their team at the earliest convenience. Due to a restructure within the support department, the school can now facilitate an additional teaching assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4.

This position will continue in the new academic year, and will provide invaluable experience prior to completing a PGCE or teacher training course.

Job highlights

-          Full time and part time opportunities available

-          Working with identified pupils on a 1:1 basis in lessons

-          Covering some lessons with pre set work in the absence of the class teacher

-          GBP65 - GBP75 per day, depending upon previous experience

The school is located slightly north of Manchester and is smaller than average with slightly under 800 pupils on roll. As a teaching assistant you will work with a group of identified students from KS3 and KS4 on a 1:1 basis to support their learning. You will also report back to the teacher on progress made and work completed.

**Previous experience working with young people aged 11-16 is essential for this position**
