Teaching Personnel are currently looking for secondary Teaching Assistants to work on a full time role from September 2020. The role is located close to Truro and has the potential to lead to a permanent contract.

The role:

You will be working 1:1 with secondary students in supporting their education. You will be working closely with other professionals in setting targets, supporting GCSE prep and managing general behaviour. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can take on any task and find new tasks to do when necessary. You must be able to use your own initiative and be willing to work with children of varying needs. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 minimum qualification in a childcare/core subject related course and have previous experience of working with children. This role would be prefect for a graduate looking for a new role within education.

The role is due to begin September 2020 on a full-time basis and has the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right person. To begin your application, you will need to:

-Email a copy of your CV to Shannan. This must include a personal statement, education/training and a career history with a minimum of 6 years employment (including any voluntary roles).

-Reference details for your two most recent and relevant roles. We will obtain any references that involve working with children/vulnerable people within the past 6 years.

-A child only DBS on the Update Service. This can be applied for through TP but will have a fee charged by the DBS company.

-A full driving licence.
