Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Teaching Assistant to work part time within schools in and around Newquay.

The roles are on day to day supply and will can be arranged around your flexibility. The work we offer is within primary, secondary and SEN schools and is usually Monday – Friday 08:30 – 15:30. We are seeking passionate individuals to work 15 – 20 hours per week. These roles could be for 3 days a week or every morning for the week but will only be for the hours agreed with yourself. Teaching Personnel have a free online diary which will allow you to book of mornings, afternoons and days you’re not free – giving you full control over your work – life balance!

As a TA you will be supporting children in small groups and 1:1 as well as assisting the teacher during whole class lessons. Within the new year, you may provide additional tutoring for students who require extra support and should have a good understanding of numeracy and literacy. As a supply TA you could work in a number of year groups. You will be required to work in the classroom and may be asked to help with additional tasks such as breaktime duty.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
