Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school situated in St Austell who have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their team of support staff from September 2020.

 

Role: Working 1:1 with a child with challenging behaviour in the mornings and afternoons will then be spent either assisting with Forest School, physical activity or covering other interventions. 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3.15, term time only.

About you: You will ideally have had experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour. Forest School or Outoor Learning experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A previous role held in a Primary School or educational setting would be preferred. You must be patient, kind, caring, resilient, flexible and able to adapt to any situation. Relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualifications would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
