Join a developing secondary school close by to the centre of Bolton supporting children and young people with additional learning needs who can show signs of challenging behaviour.
- Full time Behaviour Support Assistant.
- To start after February half term.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with challenging behaviour.
- Must have some form of experience with children and young people or skills that are transferrable to work within the education sector.
- Earn up to £1500 per month.
This Behaviour Support role is the ideal opportunity to gain further experience working within a secondary school and enhance your knowledge of pupils with challenging behaviour. You will be expected to assist class teachers to positively impact the learning and development of students through a variety of responsibilities including:
- Leading small group sessions to pupils not making expected progress.
- Supporting the learning of pupils with SEN or those with challenging behaviour.
- Working 1:1 with pupils who struggle to engage within the classroom.
Our client school is in Bolton and is easily accessible via public transport from the centre of Manchester as well as other surrounding areas such as Bury, Salford and Worsley. The school is also accessible via the M66 and A580.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
