Multiple Teaching Assistant Vacancies

**Pay from £412 per week dependant on experience**

**Full time Teaching Assistant posts starting September 2025**

We are currently supporting one of our partner schools with their interview and recruitment process for 2 upcoming Teaching Assistant positions starting in the next academic year (September). These vacancies are supporting multiple students all with various additional learning needs. This Secondary School based in Treorchy boasts specialist facilities all focused around supporting students with additional learning needs such as Autism & ADHD, challenging behaviour & intervention support for core subjects such as Literacy and Numeracy.

To be considered for this role, you would need to be confident in any of these settings and come with a positive mindset ready for changes and challenges on a daily basis as there is never a dull moment in the school.

As you will be supporting vulnerable young people it is paramount you act as a role model as well as an academic support function. Many of the students do not have a stable support structure outside of the school environment and therefore it is vital you build strong relationships with these students and gain the trust of the students you will be supporting.

Requirements:

  • Up to date DBS available on the update service
  • Valid registration with the EWC
  • Min 5 GCSEs in core subjects
  • Passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
