Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a school setting?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive school in Sutton Coldfield, currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a range of learning needs, either on a 1:1 basis or within small group interventions.
The role is to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue into the new academic year in September 2025. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the position to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs
-
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
-
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupil progress

Support classroom activities and help maintain a positive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable but not essential
-
A genuine interest in supporting the educational and emotional development of young people
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
