Job Vacancy: Teaching Assistant

Location: Tunbridge Wells 
Position: Teaching Assistant (Part-time/Full-time)
Start Date: As soon as possible

About Us:
We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Tunbridge Wells.  This is an ideal role for individuals seeking hands-on experience in education and are wishing to assist pupils who need a little extra support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for learners with diverse needs
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources
  • Support classroom management and promote a positive learning atmosphere
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for education
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
