Join a large and successful secondary school supporting students that have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to inrease their attainment and progress.
- Full time position from September 2020 (potentially sooner)
- Flexibility for the perfect candidate (Potential part time hours)
- Fixed term contract for the full academic year
- Support students with additional needs in the classroom
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month
Our client school is an oversubscribed mixed comprehensive secondary academy located in Hollingworth, Rochdale and has over 1200 students enrolled from the surrounding areas of Milnrow and Littleborough. Learning takes place in a multi-million pound, state of the art building after the school moved to their new base in 2011.
As a Teaching Assistant, you should be able to help a range of different learners to reach their full potential within all of their subjects. Daily roles vary from supporting small groups within the class, to support on a 1:1 basis, as well as delivering pre-planned content on behalf of the class teacher. This highly rewarding role is essential to schools performing to the best of their abilities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with students in order to help them perform to their best of their ability. Excellent behaviour management skills and SEN experience is highly desirable.
