I am currently working on 3 Teaching Assistant positions in a Preston based School which caters for KS3 / 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours.

The School is smaller than average and based on the outskirts of Preston.

The School currently caters for approximately 50 male pupils, who can no longer remain in mainstream education, often due to their additional needs or behaviour.

The School is Ofsted graded "good" and the staff team are very supportive, welcoming and hard working!

They are looking for 3 new members of staff, to work within a Teaching Assistant capacity, from September, on a long term basis!

The roles are:

1) Teaching Assistant - general behaviour support

2) Teaching Assistant - speech and language support

3) Teaching Assistant - Sports / outdoor education & behaviour support

The pay for these roles will start at GBP10 per hour, but are negotiable based upon experience and responsibilities.

The School hours are 8.35am - 3.10pm Monday - Friday with a half an hour lunch break.

The School would like candidates to go into School over the coming weeks to meet with the Assistant Head, have an informal chat and a school tour!

The roles are all full time and candidates will ideally have a background in working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties.
