Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Portsmouth.
About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Portsmouth that is looking to welcome a Teaching Assistant to their team. You’ll support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, work with small groups or 1:1 with pupils, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere across either EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with primary-aged children (in schools or other settings)

A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
-
Confident, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
-
Able to work collaboratively with staff and engage positively with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
