Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Bournemouth
Full-time and Part-time Positions Available
Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a supportive, passionate, and caring Teaching Assistant to work within one of our lovely Primary Schools in Poole.
What’s involved in the role?
- Working alongside the class teacher to help plan activities and lessons.
- Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups who may need a bit of extra help with their learning.
- Helping pupils build their confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy their time at school.
- Staying positive, professional, and enthusiastic at all times – whether working on your own or as part of a team.
What do we need for the role?
- A good understanding of Early Years, KS1, and KS2, so you can support across all year groups.
- Patience, understanding, and professionalism when working with children and staff.
- The ability to give helpful feedback and support children’s progress.
- A team player with strong communication and organisation skills.
- A good grasp of literacy, numeracy, and general classroom support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
