Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with children who have special educational needs? We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to fulfil our vacancies in schools across Plymouth. These are full-time, long-term roles starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students.
  • Implement individualized learning plans to support the child's progress.
  • Utilize your understanding of early phonics to facilitate language development.
  • Offer play-based interventions and sensory support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable children or young people.
  • Sound understanding of early phonics.
  • Experience with play-based intervention and sensory support is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
