Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Term-Time Only

A welcoming and vibrant primary school in the heart of Newport is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps in education or for experienced support staff seeking a new challenge.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson delivery

• Working closely with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) pupils, offering 1:1 or small group support

• Assisting with targeted intervention sessions to help pupils reach their full potential

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

• Helping maintain a safe and organised learning space

We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiastic, caring and proactive individuals

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being

• Experience with ALN or classroom support is beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A willingness to learn and grow in the role
