1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Year R
Location: Primary School, Emsworth
Contract: Fixed-term / Temporary
Hours: Full-time

We are looking for a caring and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year R at our welcoming primary school in Emsworth.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one support tailored to the child’s individual needs

• Assist with learning, communication, and social development

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalised learning plans

• Support the child’s wellbeing and confidence in a nurturing environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children with special educational needs

• Is patient, compassionate, and understanding

• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively

• Has a passion for helping children thrive and succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
