Teaching Assistant Position
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in the Newport area, whom of which need to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Reception and Year 1. The school have expressed the importance of the Teaching Assistant being punctual, having previous experience with children (either in a professional or personal environment), bringing a proactive, outgoing and positive attitude everyday to the classroom.
About the role:
- Minimum of £11.83 per hour.
- Full time role, working 8:30am – 3:30pm.
- 1:1 role with a pupil in reception/Year 1.
- Location – Newport.
- Start Date – As soon as possible.
To be able to sign up and register with Teaching Personnel and work in schools there are required steps to be cleared fully for work, these steps we at can also assist with; they are:
- Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce Only DBS.
- Register the DBS on the Update Service.
- Be registered with the EWC (Educational Workforce Council).
- Provide proof of address, identification and right to work.
- Provide 2 professional based references and an up-to-date CV.
