Teaching Assistant – Minehead

Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in the Minehead area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, develop, and feel confident in the classroom.
You will work alongside teachers and school support teams to provide assistance during lessons, help pupils stay focused and engaged, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in education or continue developing their skills within school settings.
Role responsibilities:

Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom tasks

Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation

Helping pupils understand and complete their work

Contributing to a safe, supportive and engaging environment
