Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools in the Taunton area who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary school setting.

The role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
• Assisting with classroom management and daily routines
• Providing additional support for pupils with SEND where required
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
• Be patient, adaptable, and proactive
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
