A wealth of SEN schools in the North Manchester area are approaching Teaching Personnel every day seeking Teaching Assistants in preparation for September.

Senior leadership teams are calling for a committed TA to join their effort to boost school-wide Numeracy and Literacy attainment. This multi-faceted role would involve working in the school full-time, committing oneself to the development of the school community. This provides extensive opportunities to develop knowledge and understanding of a large cohort of pupils, providing invaluable experience.

Role-specific opportunities:

• Providing small-group interventions for lower-ability pupils,
• Working one-to-one with students addressing their Numeracy and/or Literacy in preparation for their SATs,
• Providing one-to-one tuition with lower-ability pupils,
• Providing general support in-class, supporting a class teacher during topics that have been historically difficult to convey,
• Producing resources to support children in their numeracy, grammar, reading and writing,
• Running ‘reading time’ sessions with pupils and tracking their progress.

• £77+ per day through PAYE (with no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly,
• Schools located in the North Manchester area, accessible via bus, tram or car (on-site parking),
• Full-time role Monday-Friday, paid on a Timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel’s in-house payroll team,
• September start following registration with Teaching Personnel,
• Experienced TAs or graduates preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
