Teaching Assistant (KS2) - Full Time

Lytham St Annes | Lancashire
Starting After October Half Term 2026
Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lytham St Annes on a full-time basis from November 2026, following the October half-term break.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable Teaching Assistant with strong Key Stage 2 curriculum knowledge who is passionate about supporting pupils in reaching their full potential.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across Key Stage 2, providing both whole-class and small group support. You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, develop confidence, and make progress academically and socially.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Possess strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Be confident supporting learning in English, Maths, and other foundation subjects.
  • Have experience delivering targeted interventions and small group work.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
