Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Fleetwood (FY7), who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs.
This is a full-time position and would suit an individual with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated behavioural needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support that enables the pupil to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
- Experience working with pupils with ASC and/or behavioural needs.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive attitude.
- A passion for supporting children to overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
