Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion to support children and young people with their educational needs.

A Primary school we work closely with, which is one of the most progressive schools in Cornwall, would like someone who is passionate about learning to join them on their journey to outstanding.

Applicants will need:

• English and mathematics GCSE grade C or equivalent
• Good organisational skills
• A high standard of computer literacy
• The ability to work with young people
• Self-motivation and a friendly manner
• The ability to work with different needs and abilities
• To work with challenging behaviours

A DBS in child work force which is on the update service is needed for these positions. If you do not have a current DBS then we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
