Interventions Teaching Assistant, Central Manchester Primary School, Levenshulme (M19)

-          Full Time Position - Competitive Rates of Pay

A client school in the Levenshulme area of Manchester (M19) are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team on a full time basis starting after the October half term or as soon as all the relevant vetting checks have been completed. The successful candidate will work across KS1 and KS2 delivering small group interventions in English, Maths and Phonics. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with primary aged children and will be looking for their next opportunity with in a ‘GOOD’ Manchester Primary School.

This two form entry primary school offers a ‘wonderfully warm and friendly welcome’ to every one who enters andprides itself on offering ‘all children the best possible education’. The ideal candidate will be expected to work with groups of children to deliver small intervention sessions in core subject areas to help to raise attainment across year groups. This is a full time position that will start ASAP and will run for the remainder of the academic year.

To be considered you will:

-          Have experience working with children in a primary setting

-          Be a recent graduate looking to kick start your career in education

-          Be looking for your next full time teaching assistant opportunity with in a mainstream primary school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
