Teaching Assistant needed for Secondary School in Havant!
If you're passionate about supporting young people, and looking for paid work in Schools starting in September?
Teaching Personnel have a number of Teaching Assistant vacancies in both Primary and Secondary Schools throughout Havant and the surrounding areas. Individuals interested in working as a Teaching Assistant will need to be/have;
- A Degree and A-Levels within your Subject area
- The desire to help young people be achieve their very best
- Commitment to working as a Teaching Assistant for at least one School term
- Knowledge of the education system, and cultural awareness
- Previous experience working with Children in a School or similar capacity
Ideally you will be looking for work for the full academic year, however if you have other commitments and want to gain experience on a supply basis, we welcome your application. Working as a Teaching Assistant will require you to take direction from teachers and other staff members, provide in class support during lessons, lead activities for small groups and also support children on an individual (1:1) basis, you may also (in time) be asked to lead lessons in the absence of teaching staff. Prospective Teaching Assistants will be given full support in their role, and enjoy continual professional development. Teaching Personnel have a partnership with a national teaching school in the Havant and surrounding areas who will hold several courses throughout the academic year, as well as exclusive online training courses.
