Due to a huge increase in demand, the ideal candidate will need experience across all key stages and be willing to continue supporting children of varied ages – a resilient, patient & positive attitude is essential!
About The Role Itself
As there is a demand for Teaching Assistants in all key stages, most days will vary depending on the placement. The majority of the work will be pre-booked, but you may be required to be on standby for some morning bookings between 7am and 9am.
Candidate Duties
- Ideally have experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2
- Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
- Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
- Help with the planning of some lessons
- Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources
- Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Listen to pupils read & read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
Salary & Working Hours
The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!
Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)
Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
