About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students in secondary SEN settings across South Liverpool. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

You will work closely with teachers and provide 1:1 assistance, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Your support will help create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every learner can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEN.
• Assist in adapting learning materials and strategies to individual needs.
• Support classroom activities and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to deliver effective interventions.

Requirements

• Experience working in secondary SEN schools or confidence in supporting students with SEN.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting learners.
