KS2 Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Fareham 

September start

Are you an experienced teaching assistant who thrives working closely with children one-to-one and in small intervention groups? We are seeking a passionate and skilled KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school team in Fareham from September.

This role focuses on supporting pupils with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, delivering tailored interventions and helping children develop confidence, resilience, and key skills both inside and outside the classroom.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience working 1:1 and in small groups with children, particularly those with SEMH needs

  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals

  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
