SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Immediate Start | Cranborne

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Teaching Personnel are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants for an SEMH school supporting pupils aged 11–16.

This role would suit individuals with backgrounds in education, care, youth work, or psychology.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • A nurturing but firm approach

  • The ability to drive due to the school’s rural location

Both ad hoc and long-term opportunities are available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
