Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Placement (SEMH School)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant for a longer-term role within a specialist SEMH school based in Cranborne.

Role Overview

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils aged 11–16 who require consistency, structure, and positive relationships to succeed in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting learning and emotional regulation within the classroom

• Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Supporting behaviour plans and interventions

• Helping create a safe, engaging learning environment

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils

• Ability to build strong, professional relationships with young people

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• Commitment to a full-time, long-term role
