Location: Chichester
Pay: £13.75 per hour, paid weekly
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time and part-time roles available (term-time only)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Primary School Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary schools across Chichester, starting from September 2025. We have a variety of full-time and part-time positions available to suit different schedules and levels of experience.
About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children in the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to help pupils access their learning and make progress. You may support individuals, small groups, or the whole class.
Who we’re looking for:
You do not need prior experience working in a school, but we are looking for candidates with transferable skills from backgrounds such as childcare, youth work, care work, or coaching. The ideal candidate will be:

Responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils during classroom activities

Assisting with behaviour management and routines

Working with children who may need extra help
