Teaching Assistant

A good rated school in Chichester are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them in February. They have children from ages 5-16 and are looking for someone who has experience in working with children with special needs and challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will have:

• Full time availability and part time positions available 
• Experience working 1:1 with children with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting or elsewhere
• Experience working in a classroom or similar environment
• A calm, positive and patient manner
• Enjoy all lessons including PE
• The ability to empathise and understand a child's thoughts and feelings
• A DBS or willingness to get one
• An enthusiastic and organised approach with the ability to work individually and within a team
