Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Alternative Provision (Primary)

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children who need support the most? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join the team at an Alternative Provision for primary-aged pupils, located just outside Chelmsford.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those with experiences of trauma. This is a chance to be part of an inspiring setting from the very beginning, helping shape a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children with SEND, especially ASD, ADHD and SEMH, is highly desirable, but not essential

A trauma-informed approach and strong understanding of emotional regulation strategies, with full free training provided

Calm, empathetic and resilient individuals would excel within our Primary School
-
A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a new and evolving provision

Own transport is essential due to the location of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
