Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit a Primary School based LSA who will be available to work in the Cardiff area on a full-time basis. The school are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual who ideally has experience working with children in a professional or personal capacity. The position is temporary, with the possibility to be extended for the full academic year.

The ideal LSA will have confidence when providing support to the children in the class, whether that be on an individual or small group basis, as well as supporting the teacher and providing a positive learning environment.  The successful candidate will need to be patient in the classroom, and have the ability to work well with all age groups in Foundation Phase and KS2.

Location - Cardiff

Hours - 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start Date – ASAP (pending vetting requirements)

Pay - £77 per day

The school is based in the centre of Cardiff, with a friendly team of staff. You will receive continuous support and feedback, and the school will always be open to hearing new ideas and feedback. Reliability will be required for the role, as well as being enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children.

Essential Criteria:

• Enhanced Child Only DBS
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Be able to provide 2 professional based references
