Teaching Assistant – Bury (BL9)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with a Key Stage 3 pupil in a school in Bury. This pupil has additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and can sometimes get distressed or frustrated during their day-to-day in school. Therefore, senior leadership of this school are seeking a confident Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with this pupil. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing behaviour, building a positive a trusting relationship with this pupil. This is expected to maximise this pupils’ individual progress, following an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

This position is ideal for a candidate with experience working with SEMH. Ideally, this candidate will be Team Teach trained. Additional training is available through the CPD Academy, accessible for all educators registered with Teaching personnel.

  • Secondary school in Bury (BL9), easily accessible by bus, train or car.
  • £77+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
