Position Overview
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Burscough to work until the end of the academic year. This role offers the chance to work closely with pupils and staff in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
You will provide general classroom support, with a particular emphasis on supporting pupils with SEND, helping them to engage with learning and develop confidence.
Responsibilities Include

Assisting the class teacher with daily activities

Supporting pupils with SEND in lessons

Delivering small group and individual interventions

Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

Supporting pupils’ learning and development
Ideal Candidate

Experience working with children or in education

Interest or experience in SEND support

Patient, enthusiastic, and reliable

Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
