A welcoming mainstream secondary school is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from February in Bournemouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated TA who is passionate about supporting young people in a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide effective in-class support and help pupils engage positively with their learning.
The role will involve:

Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 within the classroom
-
Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and progress
-
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
-
Supporting pupils with additional needs in line with EHCPs where required
-
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
-
Has experience working in a UK secondary school setting
-
Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour management skills
-
Is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
