Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant to work in a Special Needs School in Bordon. The role will be full time to start either ASAP or after Easter


This Special School is well known in the local community for their high expectations for staff and pupils. They have excellent indoor and outdoor learning facilities and resources. The school encourage excellent working relationships with local schools, parents, carers and other outside agencies to ensure pupils are well supported.

 

Ideal candidate:


You will need to have a passion for your work, carrying it out with a positive attitude. You will need to be reliable and flexible, independently managing your own time and using your initiative to respond to unexpected or changing situations. You will be committed to your own, and the teams, success, being supportive of your co-workers.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and support a child with SEN needs and help them reach their potential in a professional and caring manner
  • Be reliable and punctual when working individually in the community or when part of a team and supporting colleagues to do their jobs
  • Actively plan and join in play and youth activities including swimming, ball games, messy play and music
  • Be prepared to communicate differently with a wide range of people
  • Keep records and write reports when required
  • Ensure the highest level of safety and safeguarding

Salary: will be discussed during interview process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
