Teaching Assistant – Bolton Secondary School
Are you a graduate looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting? Are you passionate about supporting young people and providing them with an education? Are you an enthusiastic individual looking to further their career in education?
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Bolton based secondary school, providing classroom and one-to-one support for students with additional needs. This is an exciting opportunity for those considering a career in teaching, pastoral care educational psychology, or SEN support.
What we are looking for:
- An Energetic, empathetic, and passionate individual
- Devoted to helping young people achieve
- A strong communicator who takes initiative in different situations
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Reliable and organised
- Willing to learn and take on new challenges with a positive and proactive mindset.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working or volunteering with children or young people.
- Interest in pursuing a career in education or youth work.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
